Pan-Ty® Metal Detectable Cable Ties and Mounts are now available in two materials, polypropylene and nylon 6.6. Polypropylene material provides superior resistance to harsh cleaning chemicals. PANDUIT has also added three sizes of cable tie mounts in both materials to hold cables securely in place.
Metal impregnated material is identifiable by metal detectors and x-ray inspection equipment that helps companies comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration HACCP standards and the European Union hygiene monitoring regulations. All nylon and polypropylene metal detectable products are available in separate, distinct blue colors to facilitate visual detection.
