Networked

Panduit Networked PDU Units provide real-time remote monitoring of connected loads using a Web-based GUI that allows global network access to real-time current information to enable energy optimization and circuit protection data allowing Data Center Managers to make informed decisions on load balancing and sizing of IT equipment to lower their total cost of ownership.  Current metering provides real-time remote monitoring of connected loads with user-defined alarms to warn of potential circuit overloads.  Various configurations are available including outlet, breaker, circuit and aggregate level monitoring.  Users can access and configure the Networked PDUs through secure Web, SNMP or Telnet Interfaces.

Networked with Per Outlet Monitoring

Panduit Switched PDU Units enable remote power control over individual receptacles, in conjunction with real time remote current and environmental monitoring to enable energy optimization and circuit protection data, with the ability to measure the in cabinet temperature, humidity, airflow and dewpoint remotely to prevent environmental factors that can cause equipment to overheat or malfunction.  Switched PDUs provide power utilization and environmental data to allow Data Center Managers to make informed decisions for capacity planning to optimize data center performance and determine the best location and sizing of new IT equipment to lower total cost of ownership.  Remote outlet level control allows individual outlets or a group of outlets to be turned on or off to reboot equipment and restrict unauthorized use of individual outlets.  Power sequencing time delays allow users to define the order in, which to power up or down equipment to avoid circuit overload and outlet use management to power off when equipment is not in use for energy savings.  Various remote monitoring configurations are available including breaker and aggregate level monitoring.  Users can access and configure the Networked PDUs through secure Web, SNMP or Telnet Interfaces, which are complimented by Panduit® PIM™Software Platform to enable intelligent management of the in-cabinet power usage.
