VeriSafe is the first-of-its-kind voltage tester that determines the absence of voltage with just a push of a button. This 2021 NFPA 70E and CSA-Z462 compliant product automates the required six-step testing process in about ten seconds, enabling your plant to operate faster, safer, and more efficiently.
- INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY
- IMPROVED SAFETY & RISK REDUCTION
- SIMPLIFIED PROCESS FOR EASIER COMPLIANCE
- DESIGNED FOR FLEXIBILITY IN MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS
Activating the VeriSafe ATV automatically performs the following tasks before opening the panel, helping to prevent possible exposure to electrical hazards: test the tester, verify installation, check for voltage, reverify installation, retest the tester.
The VeriSafe Access Control Kit provides an added layer of protection by preventing enclosure doors from being opened until the absence of voltage is confirmed. When the AVT confirms the absence of voltage, a signal is sent to disengage the lock. The Access Control Kit provides an integrated solution that can be added to new or existing AVT installations.
NFPA 70E is regularly updated every three years, it incorporates new technology and practices that may not yet be noted in regulations or other standards. Learn more about the NFPA 70E 120.5 updates and how it may affect your electrical safety procedures. Learn more by downloading our NFPA 70E whitepapers.
The CSA standards regulate the safety of applicable electrical products in Canada. The Canadian Standards Association publishes CSA-Z462, the Workplace Electrical Safety Standard. Learn more by downloading our CSA-Z462 whitepapers.
